Orders

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been placed and processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details. This email will include a tracking number and a link to our tracking page. Click on the tracking number link or enter the tracking number into our tracking page. Tracking information may not be immediately available after your order is placed. It can take up to 48 hours for the number to become active in our system. If you need further assistance with tracking the status of your order, please reach out to us at info@modestboutique.com.au

What if I need to change my order?

Once an order is placed, we cannot make any changes to the items in your order. If you see an error in your shipping address, please email us as quickly as possible. We will do our best to accommodate an edit to the shipping address before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee that we can make changes or cancel your order once it has been placed. If your order is processed with the original address, the carrier may allow the recipient to request a change before the package is out for delivery. We encourage you to get in touch with them!

How do I change my shipping address?

Please email info@modestboutique.com.au as quickly as possible! If your order has not already been processed, we will do our best to accommodate your request. We cannot guarantee that we can make changes or cancel your order once it has been placed. Please include your order number and the updated shipping address in your message.

Orders can only be canceled before they have been dispatched. If your order has already been shipped, you are more than welcome to place a new order or initiate an exchange here once you receive your order. 

How do I cancel my order?

Please email info@modestboutique.com.au as quickly as possible! If your order has not already been processed, we will do our best to cancel it. We cannot guarantee that we can make changes or cancel your order once it has been placed. Please include your order number and the reason for cancellation in your message.

How do I make a return?

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags attached. All shipping fees paid on your original order are non-refundable. Please see our Returns & Exchanges tab regarding which items are eligible for a return.

For all original payment method returns the cost of the return is deducted from your final refund. For international orders, the customer is charged a flat rate return fee that is deducted from your final refund (the return shipping fee costs on average between $25-$40 AUD). You will be notified of the exact amount of your return fee in the international returns portal.

Orders

A product I want is sold out, what do I do?

We recommend signing up for restock notifications on that style. To do this, simply head to the product page you are interested in and click the "Notify Me When Back in Stock" button.

We will send you an email once the item you are looking for becomes available. For specific inquiries, please email us. 

I placed an order earlier this week, and now my items are on sale! Do you offer price adjustments?

We got you! Orders placed within 48 hours of a price drop can be accommodated for a price adjustment to match but not exceed current discounts with a store credit refund.

Can I make an exchange?

Yes. Please visit our Returns & Exchange Conditions tab.

Why is my discount code not working?

Please note that our discount codes are for one-time use only unless otherwise indicated and cannot be combined with any other sales or promotions. If your order is canceled or returned, you are unable to use the code a second time.

Can I return or exchange items purchased during a Sale?

We will accept exchanges only for sale items not refunds. This policy applies to all merchandise in the sale regardless of sizing issues.

Shipping

What is your shipping policy?

Standard & express postage rates apply in Australia. Please enter your address for exact International shipping fees. Public Holidays may affect shipping time. 

For all Australian orders, they typically leave our facility within 1 business day. Once your order leaves our facility it'll be at your doorstep within 2-7 business days.

Express Orders must be placed before 11 AM AEST to leave our facility on the same business day, and will arrive by the next business day. Business days are Mon-Fri, not including weekends or holidays. Orders placed after 11 AM AEST will leave our facility on the next business day, and will arrive to the customer on the following business day.

International orders vary & can take anywhere from 10-20 business days. Please use your tracking number to check delivery estimates.

Do you ship to my country?

Yes! We ship globally via local shipping carriers & DHL Express. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. 

What happens if my package is not delivered due to an incorrect address?

If a package is not delivered due to an address mistake, it will be returned to our facility. Once it arrives and is processed in our warehouse you will receive an email notification from us regarding your refund. You can then place a new order using the correct address.

Will I be able to return items if I used a discount code?

Yes! Only items marked 'final sale' cannot be returned.

How soon will I get my refund?

Returns are processed within 7-10 business days upon receipt of the package, but often sooner. We'll send you an email when your refund has been processed. Depending on your bank it can take 4-6 business days for the refund to appear in your account. Please contact your bank if your refund does not appear after it has been processed by us. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been processed. 

I am a few days past the return policy, what do I do?

Please email us and we'll try our best to accommodate a return for you.

What items cannot be returned?

All items marked down 50% off or more are considered final sale and ineligible for a refund or exchange.

All gift cards & scrunchies are considered final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

What if I received a damaged or defective product?

We offer a 100% money back guarantee on all of our products! If your product is not 100% perfect we will offer you a full refund or replacement. We can ship you a new product at no additional cost to you. You can email our Customer Care team at any time info@modestboutique.com.au.

Do you offer a product quality guarantee even after I wear the item?

Yes, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your items even after you've worn them. We guarantee our products will last with the proper care offering a 1 year warranty. You can email our Customer Care team at any time.

How does your sizing run?

To find out how an item fits, consult our size guide tab. We also provide fit notes on all of our product pages. Most of our products have a modest fit, because that's what we're here for! Why do colors sometimes appear differently across fabric types?

At MB dye sometimes holds onto each fabric differently. Our fabrics have varying characteristics, like base color, content, weight & the way it's structured, so each absorbs dye in their own special way. Additionally, no fabric production run is exactly the same. Even slight variances between runs can cause the fabric to absorb dye differently and result in minor shade differences. Every fabrication requires a unique dye formulation to hit the same color tone, and even then, some variance is to be expected. It is also important to follow the care instructions for each item to maintain colour quality. If you have any questions please contact us. 

Where are your products made?

All of our products are designed in Melbourne. 

Our Abaya’s are made in Dubai, UAE while our hijabs are made in China. 

How do I wash/care for my item?

We strive to provide you with high quality pieces that will last you a lifetime. To ensure they stay in their best shape, we always advise you to follow the care instructions information on our website. In General, we recommend you cold machine wash only with all of our products. Avoid dryers; air dry naturally out of direct sun light. We recommend steaming your items to maintain quality & for the perfect look.
